THE NEED
It started with the MK9 holster.
Officers are often placed in dangerous situations. They needed a holster that would keep the MK9 secure during movement or a physical altercation, allow quick access, and adapt as their duties changed.
We listened to those concerns and used them to guide the design that led to the product you see today.

The Process

The first model
We worked with a local holster builder to develop our first MK9 holster.

Understanding the need
With help from University of Southern California (USC) students, we created a Customer Discovery Survey. Officers told us what they needed from a holster, including secure retention and quick access.

Testing and refinement
We worked with design engineer RekMax3D on a new design, sent samples to officers for testing, and made adjustments based on their feedback.
Retention, access, & placement.
THE results
A thumb-pull lever releases the spring-loaded retention hood, which rotates out of the way so the MK9 can be withdrawn.
Multiple mounting options allow the holster to be worn on the thigh, hip, or tactical vest.
